These are the types of people who heartlessly made fun of blue collar workers who complained about cheap labor taking their jobs. e.g. the “they took our jerbs!” South Park joke. And the same people who cried “those jobs are never coming back and it’s a good thing”.
They’ve done nothing to help with the slow death of the middle class, and in fact cheered it on in many cases.
The thing is, South Park generally hits both sides equally. There was a great bit (not in that episode) where Kyle's dad is explaining the Gods/clods economic dichotomy why he has a good, well-paying job (lawyer) because he has a slightly higher intellect so he was able to go to college and how they still needs clods to do the lower-status work. All of this is to say, everybody falls into their place in a "functioning America" or something to that effect and everything is just as well because of it /s
South Park is written by a pretty atypical crew, most of the writers/actors I follow (from middle budget sci Fi shows I like) just seem like they're mostly politically unengaged folks just trying to get paid and make their specific product, but obviously ymmv

Sounds like they should learn to code.
