Wrt the knife steel thread, It'd be interesting to weld thin sheets of a powder steel interleaved with graphene, then fold it Damascus style to get long graphene structures throughout the steel.

It's awesome that they're moving along so fast, graphene is getting close to roll-to-roll mass production. Super thin flexible pcbs and components will make for very interesting wearables.
