A lot of todays UX/UI designers have a lot to learn from these OSs.

Apollo had a "UX" which didn't get in the way of the user, customizable ( i know, not in fashion anymore). Apollo had a multitasking, multiuser network distributed OS which ran on 4MB of RAM, with 3 personalities (AEGIS, SYS V and BSD) and with a versioning filesystem.

It's called a Hackintosh; there's plenty of information on that.


You can boot into macOS with QEMU, but you won't have hardware-accelerated graphics or a handful of other features.


Which features? Apple Pay?


That requires the Secure Enclave, so I suspect that’s one of them.
